My mother always took codeine #4 and to my understanding when it says #4 that refers to this combination. “Tylenol No. 4 with Codeine: This is a combination medication containing two ingredients acetaminophen and codeine that belong to the group of medications ...”
So taking 2 of them should NOT be a problem if needed. IF it was just codeine it would show how many miligrams of codeine are in them.
