To me that was the MOST beautiful place I had ever seen. I ALWAYS wanted to go back too.
My husband and I made a bed in the back of our 1970 Ford station wagon and had MY mother and 3 kids sleep in an OLD army tent. We made like a tunnel from the tent to the car so if they needed to get in they could. My mother said she heard a bear sniffing around and prayed the kids wouldn’t wake up and scream. The next morning my husband was coming out from the restroom and a BEAR was right there.
We used to laugh about that all the time. Putting my mother in the tent. :-)
You’ve got some great memories to treasure, Spunky.
Sometimes it’s nice to live in the past....they seem like much happier times. Nicer people, nicer pace, more innocence, less of a rat race. I’ll bet people actually used to greet each other when passing on the streets. Now you’d be considered some kind of weirdo.
I wonder if we asked norsky nicely, if he’d find a picture of beautiful Banff, Alberta to post for his nightly lovely and peaceful pics. A collection of God’s masterpieces.
Norsky? How about a pic of Banff?
