I think you ARE right about that. EVEN my Democrat, Indiana living, brother, who used to watch him on The Apprentice apparently liked him then.
About 2 yrs ago when I sent him a link to watch the Trucker’s going across the state to DC (they were going to be stopping in Independence, Indiana. close to where he lives) he told me he didn’t “want anything to do with trump, and NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYONE WHO DID”
We haven’t spoken since.
TDS. It’s a real thing. That’s a shame to lose touch with a family member that way. I am sorry to say, though, that if any family member of mine disowned me because of my support of President Trump (or any politician) they’re just not someone I’d mind losing, truth be told.
I am very thankful that the immediate family I’m around now are all on the same page. Funny, my son and his wife were the last to arrive to the right side, but they’re now the most fervent lol. Funny how that works.
