Judy I’m already doing soups -they’re on the full liquid diet . Next phase I’ll be able to do heavier soups with cream

Cotton the soups that I’ve been eating this week that were in the freezer. I take them out to thaw, use the immersion blender to really get the soup thin

-Coconut curry
-Carrot/cauliflower/ginger
-Tomato basil
-French onion
-Cheesy cauliflower
-potato

Next will be able to do
- lentil
- 12 bean
- Corn chowder
Etc

Can then add WELL DONE pasta - I don’t eat or care for canned commercial soups

Those sound good, especially the cheesy cauliflower. I suppose they don’t have to be super thin, since they gave you grits.

We use coarse yellow cornmeal to make polenta, real similar to Grits except we have it for dinner usually with some kind of Italian sauce.

Whoa Dolly!

Those soups sound delish!

Natalie just brought me over some cheesy cream of broccoli soup for supper. It looks good. I guess the creamy ones would a little hard on the system for you now, but they’re just around the corner! Yum....somehow they taste better when it’s raining outside and the sleet is hitting the windows lol. Maybe that’s soup ambiance.

Glad you’re getting on as well as you are.....and I hope the back gets better as well.
