What on earth were you doing up so late!?

Well, most all of my working life was 2nd shift (2pmish - 10pmish or later). So I have always stayed up later than 'normal' ppl. I have been retired now for 2 years, and have been going to bed a bit earlier than when I worked. But, like some of you, I also sleep in 'naps'. Can't manage to stay asleep more than 2 hours at a time. I just don't necessarily get back on the computer. :)

When I worked those were the shifts I always worked. Would get home then loved to watch Johnny Carson.

I still can’t go to bed before 11:00-12:00 p.m. and I get up about 8:00 a.m. And don’t take naps.

Gotcha....hard to change your inner clock when it’s been set at the same time for so many years! Well, if you’re up in the night and need to kill some time before going back to sleep, you know where to find someone!

Do you like being retired? Believe it or not, my brother was not looking forward to it. Didn’t know what he’d do with himself. Very nervous about it. I told him he’d love it but he didn’t believe me. Lol a month later he thought he had died and gone to heaven. He had been talking about maybe finding something part-time to ease into retirement, but he scoffed at that as well. He loves being retired!
