Park steward and volunteer Genevieve Courtney said she noticed the man driving the excavator erratically before tearing into the green space bordering the orchard and dog park picnic area at about 6:30pm on Saturday.

Lieutenant Jessica Taylor, who served in the force for 23 years, addressed a 15-page-exit letter to the police chief in which she blamed 'failed leadership' for turning the city into a 'playground for anarchists and criminals.' Only thing wrong with that claim is that the leadership actually was very successful. This is what they wanted.
