That is really not fair assessment.
The guy has been dead 45 years. What will your property/neighborhood look like 45 years after you go after your descendants carve it up, hock it and neglect it.
In the time of Elvis and Graceland America’s population was stable and no one knew the mass immigration that was coming and how it would explode the population from 200 million to 330 million and the growing leaps and bounds it is today and that the immigration and new federal laws and real estate laws would destroy communities throughout America.
The Americans of the 60s and early 70s had no idea that the Democrats had quietly written and passed an immigration/population bomb that combined with the federalization of local real estate laws and the forced and instant integration of the South, would restructure everything in the United States and end communities as we knew them and even the concept of community and neighbors.
So from well known facts, and this article you don’t get it? Meeting a 14 YO GIRL, then talking/schmoozing the GIRLS parents into allowing a 16 YO GIRL into moving in with him then marrying him.
That isn’t proof enough of pedophelia for you? You can do your own research on the rest. Dude was a girl loving pervert.
So a 14 YO isn’t a minor? He was 11 years older than her. You’d be just fine with a 25 YO man sniffing around your 14 YO daughter huh?
Engage your brain.
I see you have you own unique opinion. Carry on.
Technically, she didn’t move in with him until she was 18. He did talk to her parents in having her move to Memphis when she was 16, but as part of his promise, he had her move in with his father and step-mother who lived in their own separate house around the corner from Graceland (in a rage Elvis had kicked them out of the house years earlier when his stepmother redecorated the house while he was busy and away in california, getting rid of Gladys’ decorating touches and replacing it with her own, without his permission), on Dolan street. Priscilla didn’t move in to the house at Graceland until she was 18.
As the years went by, Priscilla’s parents were getting impatient with Elvis. They wanted him to fulfill his years old promise to marry Priscilla. But by then, for Elvis, the intensity towards Priscilla had worn off. He didn’t want to marry her or any other girl. He liked his bachelor hood. But her parents put the screws to him. He went to his father and his manager, Parker, looking for them to tell him to not marry her. But they advised Elvis to marry the girl. Maybe it’ll be good for his image.
On the day of his wedding, before the ceremony began, one of his friends and employee recalls Elvis sitting in his hotel room, wearing his wedding suit, complaining, “I don’t want to get married, man.”
AS I SAID..WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?.

All correct.
It was a farm. Those out buildings were used as offices, a racquetball court, a shooting room, and storage.
Most of the area got run down way after he died.
The new owners rebuilt the area across the street. It was a dump with crappy gift shops and restaurants. It’s now huge with all of his stuff on display rather than a few items.
“Nobody has ever had anything like his voice and his talent.”
I like him fine, and his talent is OK. I like his gospel pieces best. “Who Am I” and “Help Me”. But he’s off pitch quite a bit — too flat. Cringeworthy at times.
