Carol Brady ("The Brady Bunch")
Florence Henderson's portrayal of the always smiling, always calm and collected Carol Brady (even while she has six kids to watch over) became the benchmark all mothers tried to hit in the early 1970s.
Remember, she wasn't just a housewife. She was a freelance writer, sculptor, and even had time for the PTA.

Edith Bunker. She put up with all kinds of stuff, but kept her hope and warmth. Ding-y? Yes, but that’s no crime, just a foible.
Bea Benaderet as Kate Bradley. She made sure her daughters grew up to be ladies.
LOL
and Betty Rubble and Pearl Bodine at the same time.
#8 Florence Henderson and Shirley Jones wrote books with details on their er... sex lives. Many guys including a threesome according to Shirley Jones.... That’s suburbia!
Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) in “Game of Thrones”. Had a total monster boy from her brother’s seed, forced to walk nude in shame (after torture) across her city by religious zealots, saw her good son suicide over the horror of it all and engineered the mass murder of hundreds of her enemies in one fell swoop. Went through all that only to be killed off as an after-note by lazy writers at the end.
Horrible mother. Her character ended up with a drunk for a daughter and a transgender grandchild.
T’was a joke. I never watched that stupid show.
BTTT
Lol. I rarely did honestly.
Marjorie Reynolds as Peg Riley. Life of Riley.
Donna Reed wasn’t just a “best mom”; she was a babe! (My first crush at 10 years old; soon to be replaced by Sandra Dee.) (Hey! I’m an “old guy” ... what can I say?)
Moira Rose — LOL, priceless!
My vote is for Roseanne.
