Africa has their race. Asia has their race. Europe has its race. American natives seem to share Asian DNA. So, do you think there was another race from the Americas that perhaps no longer exists?
Not really.
Africa has at least two races, Mediterranean and Sub-Sahara.
Asia has at least two, the Indians and the Oriental.
And are you including the South Pacific in Asia? Because you are going to have to add another two. Islanders and Aborigines.
And those are just the main races. Once you start bringing in the smaller groups, the Ainu for example you get a whole bunch more.
The amount of Caucasian DNA that Native Americans had before Europeans first came over here to colonize, whenever that was-varies from tribe to tribe-Alaskans have the least-the Cherokee have the most, according to ancient DNA studies done. some South American/Central American Natives have Black DNA, but S America is not all that far from Africa. They are heavy on the Asian DNA from Japan, China, etc too...
