Release Chauvin from prison NOW! Start the lawsuit for damages immediately.
It wasn’t justice, it was a cowardly judge who was afraid of the big scary black people, and he was pandering to the mob.
There sure a lot of people here posting about facts, evidence and sworn testimony in Saint George’s untimely death.
Why do you think it even matters in a Trial and Conviction based on preconceived beliefs and wild emotional arguments???

They just gave a cop 5 years who was on scene doing crowd control. He was nowhere near Floyd.
The jury knew this, but it was an O-J jury, so it didn’t matter.
How about the part in the prosecution’s closing where they argued about the drug-induced heart attack: Maybe he died of this, maybe not.
So a man is in prison forever for something he did not do.
And nobody cares. Same as the J6 people.

It doesnt take a medical degree to know that what they were claiming didnt match with the footage and I said so in threads back then.
Every hunter, butcher, and anyone trained in some sort of martial art or other restraint technique knows it too.
If we look at a cross section of a human neck then the critical points, if the larynx is at the 12 oclock position, is roughly halfway between 1 and 2 and again roughly between 10 and 11.
At no time was the knee quite as far forward as 3 nor as far back as 6.
The accusations were obviously fake and entirely false to anyone that understood and wanted to know the truth rather than those always looking to stimulate raw societal nerves.
Problem is, the damage is pretty much done by now. There are those who will never admit to scientific evidence as to COD for George Floyd. And they will/have rioted based on what they thought was murder. It was essentially suicide from what I can see.
That’s the problem with hyper-partisan news coverage on both sides: the Left made Floyd out to be a saint, randomly killed by police. But the Right failed to report the fact that Floyd was known to be unconscious, and with a stopped heart, and Chauvin kept him on the ground, apart from EMT.

THAT EMT did not arrive in an ambulance, but even when the ambulance arrived, they were obstructed for two minutes:

IMPORTANT:
This does not mean that the trial was a travesty!
“The witness, Donald Williams, was also in court on Monday and told jurors that, in his perception, Chauvin’s physical position — with his knee on the back of Floyd’s neck for several minutes — was a clear use of deadly force. . . . Judge Peter Cahill ruled before the trial that Williams could use his experience as a mixed martial arts trainer and fighter to explain why he felt Floyd’s life was in danger, even though he’s not a medical expert.”
Rando ignorant nobody gets to assert that the force they used was deadly? What crap lawyer didn’t follow up with “How many people have you seen die this way? None? Your honor, as a judge, if you allow this testimony, YOU are suborning perjury.”
So stuff like this made me think Chauvin was innocent... except for the testimony that the police themselves could and did find out that his heart had stopped.
Those who played a part in the prosecution of the police officers should all be prosecuted so maybe/hopefully this would not happen again.

By the time the artery is fully behind the 2/10 the sternocleidomastoid muscle begins shielding it and shortly thereafter the mandible also becomes an obstruction so that no amount of kneeling is going to create any pressure where it gets close to 3/9.
Do you see any massive vasculature in positions 3-9? No, humans arent built that way.
The “rando ignorant” I was criticizing was alleging that he somehow knew that the knee pin was fatal.
OTOH, even if it was fentanyl-induced, Floyd had a heart attack while Chauvin was pinning him down, and Chauvin did not stop to get aid, even when he had determined that Floyd’s heart had apparently stopped.
