If you lock your knees when standing for a prolonged period as in a wedding you WILL PASS OUT............
I know and I think that’s what happened. I was at a wedding several decades ago, summer wedding in NC, with NO AC in the church. It was awful. Two of the groomsmen ‘locked their knees’ and passed out (at separate times). There was an usher (built like a small tank) who trotted down the aisle, slung a groomsman over his shoulder & trotted back down the aisle ... two trips. One of the groomsmen split his chin open when he fell ... dripped blood the whole way. It was pretty terrible - we all remember that wedding ... but not for the bride’s dress, flowers, or anything else!
The kid who past out the 14th was at least on carpet, not that you can’t damage yourself passing out on carpet, too (guy from our church did that earlier this year - bounced his head off the carpet in the den hard enough he got a brain bleed & died a couple days later).
