Nothing has so vividly revealed the moral rot of our elite universities as the reaction to Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre of Jews.
A closer look at the peculiar vocabulary of the dominant campus left points to the core of the problem — and the left’s insincerity.
Normal human beings not handicapped by a contemporaneous college education may be wondering why the pro-Hamas academics coming out of the woodwork make their chief complaint that Jews are “colonizers.”
It has long been tiresome to review the lengthy history of Jews living in “Judea” (as the Romans called the Holy Land when they occupied it) centuries before Islam was a gleam in Muhammad’s eye, not to mention the 20th-century international mandate to restore a Jewish homeland after centuries of occupation by the Ottoman Empire and other previous “colonizers” or Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza more than 15 years ago, after which Gaza decided self-government meant empowering Hamas.
Nor does it do any good to point out the entirety of human history is one of invasion and conquest and virtually no nation or ethnic group, including especially Jews, is without a history of conquest by a hostile or opportunistic neighbor.
Indeed, William the Conqueror was a “colonizer” in the 1066 Norman Conquest.
None of the history or legal claims about the Middle East matters to the braying mob of campus antisemites because the “colonizer” charge isn’t about occupation, colonialism or a dispute about dividing up the historic land of Israel at all.
Colonialism, or its parent category “imperialism,” is the all-purpose charge Lenin developed a century ago to explain the failure of Marxist historical predictions and supply a new rationale for whipping up radical enthusiasm for revolution.

American leftist campuses, like all of leftist social-engineering taking place in the USA - is fed by government allocation of printed money and debt for political purposes.
These azho campussies are the same ones that went to school to demand the taxpayers pay to change their gonads and be forced to learn THEIR “pronouns.” IOWs Sick bass turds. Now they want sicko hockey players to tape homosexual “pride” flags to their hockey sticks.
One of the lessons that people need to learn is that the "all purpose" excuses of the Left need to be utterly rejected and not allowed for "any purpose" at all.
It's NOT all about racism.
It's NOT all about Climate Change.
It's NOT all about Colonialism.
One-size-fits-all explanations for everything just shows intellectual laziness.
Missing the point. Relativism and the demolishing of truth has so degraded society that moral truths are out the window along with sanctity of life, particularly Jewish life, making murder, rape and unspeakable wanton violence against babies, children, civilians and elderly by terrorist Islamists - that is an OK thing in the Woke World of American and European universities.
This is not ok folks. It means that the ethical responsibility, social degradation and moral degradation has reached a critical end of civilization as we knew it. This is the beginning of a place from which there is no return.

People spent all of 2020 watching videos of cities burning, and years of reports (and photos and videos) of whites being assaulted, raped, or murdered by nonwhites, the criminal often let off easy.
And the media was fine with it.
Probably still is.
The Left is grossly overrepresented in Academia. Therefore they are oppressors and colonizers. The only thing that will do is to require diversity of thought in Academia.
That means Leftists need not apply for Academic or Administrative positions in universities for a long long time to come.

Every parent that sends their kids to these leftist indoctrination ivy League colleges should be charged with child abuse.
