Before Israel launched its attack on Hamas terrorists in response to their barbaric, murderous acts, I put out a call to pray for the people of Gaza, knowing that many innocent civilians would lose their lives. Since then, I have been in meetings with other Christians where we prayed for the protection of Gazan civilians and for the IDF to use wisdom and restraint in their rightful attempts to eradicate Hamas.

Tokyo, Dresdan, Sr. Petersburg/Stalingrad, Hanoi, Nagasaki, and Nan-king are just a few places filled with civilians that were attacked without mercy and that is only the cities I remembered in the last minute,
Fundamentalist Anglo-Protestantism is a relatively new religion. Traditional chrstians have always hated the Jews, and no one hates the Jews more than the "indigenous" chrstians of the Middle East, whom this naif refers to as "brothers and sisters."
But the letter doesn’t stop here. It repeats other, inaccurate, but now standard leftwing tropes, comparing the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland with “entrenched colonial discourse that has weaponized the Bible to justify the ethnic cleansing of indigenous peoples in the Americas, Oceania, and elsewhere, the slavery of Africans and the transatlantic slave trade, and decades of apartheid in South Africa.”
Well, well, well. According to the "paleos," Middle Eastern chrstians and South African Afrikaners are brethren and comrades and common victims of "Jewish bolshevism." Now those same "common victims" are sounding like a bunch of leftist hippies! This flies in the face of the "paleos'" worldview but will this give them second thoughts? Dream on! They can't help themselves.
I define War as, No More Rules.
Amen

Not sure what you mean by traditional, but born again Christians are taught, in the Bible, including the New Testament, to love Jews. We still believe in the Old Testament, as well. Abraham is our father, too. God promised him he would make him the father of many nations, literally, goy. He wasn’t talking about nation building, he was talking about gentiles who would believe in 1the Hebrew God, the only true God.. Most of the first Christians were Jewish believers in Jesus. Catholics will have to correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it was the Catholic Church that preached against the Jews. Followers of Luther, Lutherans, did as well. Which is absurd on the face of it. Jesus is a Jew, and the New Testament was written by Jewish believers.
