We actually went up to go see Florida play Rutgers at Giants Stadium in the 80s, and the crowd was at least 75% Gator fans.

But after the game, some Rutgers fans tried to attack our bus as we were leaving.

That must have been just regular New Jersey trash. Rutgers didn’t have any fans in the 1980s. :-P
