All good points. My views:
When Trump returns, he’s going to take care of things. A few I remember (hopefully others will add/correct):
Reduce fed employee workforce by a huge percentage, something like 75% iir.
Eliminate the SES or whatever category that makes it impossible to fire fed employees.
Axe many Fed Departments and Agencies, and merge the ones that are necessary. He mentioned Dep of Education being eliminated.
He mentioned agencies like Dept of the Interior/Bureau of Land Management headquarters moved out of DC into the area of the country they “manage”.
Also mentioned moving other fed agencies (the few remaining) out of DC.
He also mentioned moving to gold standard.
That’s all I can think of but he very likely has said more. He has said many times that voting has to be on one day, in person, paper ballots, hand counted in the open, Voter ID, and results by evening.
In short, if the fed gov is reduced ONLY to that which is Constitutionally mandated, and everything else left to the states, the fedgov would be the military, tariffs, borders, dealing with foreign countries, and “coining money”, oh and USPS. I think that’s it.
Great comments, especially this:

Or we could just go back to those original to the Constitution.
So out of 57 agencies how many originally?
Dept of Interior
Dept of Treasury
Dept of War (renamed DoD after WWII)
