Twice I’ve gotten an email (on my altenative one I used for signing up on twitter) saying that someone using Chrome accessed my twitX account. I don’t have Chrome.
I get tons of spam/fraud emails saying that my Netflix/Costco membership or something is expiring. Mostly things where I’ve never had a membership, so very obviously fraud. I also get tons of fraud saying I’ve won something. Usually it’s from Harbor Freight, but sometimes it’s a Walmart gift card or Amazon gift card. I also get stuff that says the IRS is suing me for unpaid taxes. (Mine are all paid and the notification doesn’t come from IRS and doesn’t know my name. Ha.)
This was different from those and appeared on my laptop as an alert, not as an email spam.
