That's what we had when we were kids. We shot each other with them - two pump max and no head shots. I think my brother went to his grave with a BB in his behind because somebody pumped more than twice. LOL. Of course we never told our parents.
LOL, my baby brother shot our mom in the butt when he got his. We got the bb rifles first to prove we were responsible before we got our first .22 rifle. He failed. Even the girls got .22 rifles and were taught to shoot when we turned 12. Dad wanted all five of us to be good shots and safe.
My husband’s pellet rifle is the .177 pump. Mine use the CO2 cartridges.
