Show me. In reality, there are so few mutations that they can track time.
the human body is a mysterious thing and really quite marvelous from a scientific aspect.
I have an extremely rare genetic mutation that causes one of my blood tests to look so whacked out that no Doctor I have seen has ever seen anything like it and they don’t know how to interpret it.
It has been studied mostly in Japan but there aren’t a lot of studies. In Japanese people the rate is 1 in 1 million for this issue. However, when they first discovered it and still today they claim it is a “non disease”...meaning they can’t figure out how it would be detrimental to the body. One study thought the RBCs rejiggered themselves to deal with the issue.
I posit that since I already have another genetic issue effecting RBC then my particular case might have problems with the Non Disease..but because this is so rare there are no studies combining the two issues.
I don’t buy into the Non Disease aspect..and am acting accordingly. However, if it is Non Disease it just shows that the body really does try to rejigger with significant mutations that cause you to be missing a key component.
With this defect you see phrases like that....”we don’t know why...but it doesn’t seem to cause a problem”
The Body is still light years ahead of medicine.
