A video showing a California police officer dragging a woman from her car and punching her to the ground after an alleged burglary has gone viral on social media.
The shocking footage shows the end of a car chase after a business near the Gateway Plaza Shopping Center was burglarized on Friday, the Vallejo Police Department told KRON4.
Police allege that the suspect was driving recklessly and crashed into a truck in the area of Auto Mall Pkwy and Admiral Callaghan Lane.
The suspect, wearing jeans and a white sweater, then resisted arrest and tried to escape, according to police.
The video, taken by a civilian in a car, shows an officer pulling the woman out from the car door, slamming her against the nearby truck, before pulling her to the ground and punching her in the face. The officer then restrains the woman and sits on her head.
After the woman is handcuffed the officer picks her up from the floor and forcefully walks her away from the camera.
Both the woman and the police officer were injured in the arrest, police told KRON4.
The suspect was injured from the car crash, and the officer was injured from trying to arrest the woman. The woman is currently in police custody, authorities said.
The name of the suspect nor the officer involved in the arrest has yet been released.

Grew up in a small Indiana town in the early 70’s. There were 4 bars in town. The one on the North side was where all of the Hilly’s went on Saturday night. Cops got called there all of the time. So, I just turned 21 and I’m at the Northside and a “dispute” erupts. Tables and chairs get thrown. Cops get called. In comes 2 cops. One has an Ithaca pump gun. Crowd gets confrontational and the cop with the Ithaca racks in a round. Most of the crowd get quiet however the combatants continue to be assholes. Then other cop takes out his PR 24 and gives one of the assholes a “hickory shampoo” and drags them outside. No arrests, the Hilly’s knew they had it coming and everyone went back to drinking. and that was that.

You can see the cannibal was trying to devour the cop in one big bite. The cop had to wrestle the alligator to prevent being eaten alive. Kneeling on the head of a giant Komodo dragon is the usual method of taming a feral democrat lizard.

Yea. What’s “shocking” about this arrest? The cop used reasonable force to subdue the perp. Looks like the reporter is trying to drum up another George Floyd day.

Hmmmm...no mention in the article the arrested woman is black.
She deserved what she got and more. Maybe next time she’ll think twice about her criminal behavior.
