I’m here and supporting FR because I have been kicked off of Twitter. Eventually, all Conservatives or Rightists of any description will be kicked off of all Corporate Social Media and will end up here, or at The Conservative Treehouse, or no-where.

I used to believe that Constitutional Conservatism on the US model was the way to go. But the last few years have shown it to be totally failed. It was failing a long time ago. We just pretended not to notice.

I'm pretty sure that in the time of Pax Romana, their citizens were 100% certain that they would live and rule forever. Just like so many other societies since humanity walked out of the stone age that no longer exists. England is another perfect example. In the period following the Industrial Revolution when the "sun never set on the British Empire," -- except, of course, until it didn't anymore.
Where are all those great societies today? I'll tell you. They are in the dustbin of history.

Socrates’s point is that voting in an election is a skill, not a random intuition. And like any skill, it needs to be taught systematically to people. Letting the citizenry vote without an education is as irresponsible as putting them in charge of a trireme sailing to Samos in a storm.

And yet again you openly confess yourself to be not a traditional Free Republic constitutional conservative, but rather a raging fascist lunatic, unfit for civilized conversation or company.
The US Constitution has endured for 235 years now because always there were enough loyal citizens to defend it in its hours of greatest threats, most notably, from Confederate Democrats in the US Civil War.
Today's threats from Democrats are indeed serious, but they are not on the level of the 1860s, and should not require such violence to defeat.
Today's threats do require strong leaders with strong supporters, which we are unlikely to see so long as a large number of alleged "conservatives" are calling for the violent overthrow of the US Constitution.
It means that, by definition, you are no longer conservative.
