This question requires actual facts for a good answer. If you have worked with your shotgun and load on a pattern board, you know the right answer. I have and in my case I will take the shot at 20 feet. Terrorist dead, wife untouched.
A person who has not done the work and is unfamiliar with his weapon should not take the shot.
I’ve run 6” steel plate at 25 yrds with my Browning A5... I could take the shot with confidence.
Especially since the divorce has been final for almost two years now...
I’ve also done the work, and COULD take that shot. I’d still rather take it with a carbine. I practice way more with the carbine than with the shotgun.
