....and how smart Hezbollah is. They are biding their time and won't insert themselves until the time is right.
When I was in Nam we were always on alert prior to US holidays. 4th of July, etc. Back then the US military still remembered the Pearl Harbor effect. Israeli security was asleep atbthe switch. Ive seldom read so many excuses for gross incompetence. The simple fact of the Yom Kippur anniversary should have had security beefed up.
And the disarming of the populace is disgusting. Eff Israels leadership.
At least that one was funny…
True. It did provide an entertaining back and forth.
Crazy doesn’t have a political affiliation.
According to the news the terrorists abandon modern communications in planning the attacks and used low tech communications. They also used face to face meetings and hand carried messages from one meeting to the next. They probably moved equipment around in the dead of night. If accurate that should tell the US what might happen here. I’m sure Joe will heed warnings like this ... right after he has his daily ice cream break and afternoon nap.
Correct. And Israeli intelligence already admitted their mistake by allowing Hamas to put them to sleep over a period of two years, which is remarkable because that means the planning for this was well over two years. Psyop and secrecy.
It all points to a much bigger endgame and Hezbollah is doing probing attacks, waiting for their turn.
Then there are the biblical tripwires:
1. a peace deal to secure Israel, and that deal will be contingent on Saudi Arabia having some control/input into making a compromise for all three monotheistic religions— setting up the abomination of desolation.
2. the red heifers are less than 1.3 years to maturity before being sacrificed for the 3rd temple worship
3. the Euphrates is evaporating
4. there are massive conversions to Christianity in Israel, to the point where it became illegal to convert a Jew— but those laws are going to be ignored now.
5. Haniyeh (a dead man walking) appealed to the Ummah (Sunni and Shia) to join the fight
6. Iran congratulated Hamas, on behalf of the Ummah
7. Iraq is now controlled by Shias, allowing a massive Iranian army to cut through Iraq and Syria. 88 million people can produce a quite an army.
8. Oh yeah......and Damascus gets nuked when that happens, likely setting up all nations rising against Israel
Run to Jesus Christ right now. There is nothing on your plate that is of higher importance.
Remember when the Japs attacked Pearl Harbor, they were still negotiating with the Japanese envoys right up to the day of the attack.
“No one on the Israeli side had a clue. Seems impossible”
That’s because it is impossible. More than likely as bad as it sounds this attack was allowed to happen because it gives cover to do what has been coming for decades. Destroy Hamas and take back and occupy Gaza.
And IMO provides for the distraction to take down the cabal in Israel. I would take the calculated guess that high level arrests are happening under cover of this conflict and the US special forces probably have teams on the ground helping. Their cover being US hostage extraction.
Do you post as "thought criminal" on another website?
Donald Trump *IS* the nominee, and you need to just learn to cope with it. Bitching about it isn't going to do you or anyone else any good.
I think you misunderstand his purpose and intent in blaming Netanyahu.
What he is really doing is an anti-Trump rant by saying *TRUMP* said Netanyahu is at fault.
Big daddy is just being an obnoxious d*ck.
This back-door attack is cheap, misleading and frankly childish.
Amen. This is a tantrum.
At the same time, we need to be examining the terrorist methodologies in these attacks as they would or could be applied here in the US. Every gun free zone or building presents an opportunity and anywhere citizens are restricted or limited from having adequate weapons is a terrorist opportunity zone. No Israeli politician is responsible for that. How many times will you or I enter one of those zones in the coming weeks? How will you or I work around those limitations?
you posted it dipsh!t... so what’s yer point??? feh
Netanyau become prime minister in December 2022.
I suspect the cause of Israeli intelligence errors originated in the ten months before he took office, much like most of the errors of intelligence began under Clinton and before GWBush took office in January 2001 - nine months before 9/11. My one complaint about GWBush was he was too collegial to the intelligence officials he inherited and should have sacked them all as soon as he took office. But like his fAther he trusted too much in the deep state to be doing the right thing. That trust as not warranted.
Also, most of them will get the bum's rush off the forum at the same time.
March-April of 2016 on FR was very entertaining.
IDF Chief of Staff Herzl Halevi appointed in January ‘23. The lack of discipline and training was so bad it had to have started long before then. Halevi succeeded Aviv Kochavi. Both are likely in big trouble.
But people overlook how obsessed other senior military and intelligence people have been with overthrowing the Netanyahu government, organizing ‘strikes’ and protests with inflammatory rhetoric instead of doing their jobs.
“But people overlook how obsessed other senior military and intelligence people have been with overthrowing the Netanyahu government, organizing ‘strikes’ and protests with inflammatory rhetoric instead of doing their jobs.”
Yes. Netanyahu should, internally with his own staff, investigate IDF leaders who supported IDF members joining the Liberals “protests” against the long ovewrdue judicial reforms.
What’s your point? Trump didn’t say Bibi let down Israel. He said he not prepared for the invasion. Was this not a surprise attack? I see no lies in what Trump said, and I think those pushing the national midstream media narrative are ignorant.
100%
“Israel is ably and to the core vigilant.”
There are plenty of Israelis who are against any active military heavy handed measures, Knesset mbrs as well.
“This was not an accidental or naive standing down.”
The PM might have been restricted in providing the security precautions actually required.
I think that’s pretty naive (or propagandistic).
