You forgot to mention that Israel is helping Azerbaijan

Yes, thanks for adding that.
Really?
Rattlesnake forgot to mention that territorial disputes between Christian Armenia and Muslim Azerbaijan go back more than 2,000 years.
Christian Armenia conquered the Nagorno-Karabakh (N-K) region BEFORE the birth of Christ, so it is misleading to imply that Christian vs. Muslim theology is a central issue here.
Since Armenia conquered N-K, the Persian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Russian Empire, and the Soviet Union have all held various degrees of control over N-K.
The CURRENT dispute between Armenia, Azerbaijan, and N-K began when the Soviet Union collapsed around 1990.
It is also misleading to claim that 40% of Israeli oil comes from Azerbaijan. Two major pipe lines - oil and natural gas - run from Azerbaijan, through Turkey. Every country in that region, including southern Europe, buys oil and NG from Azerbaijan.
It is misleading to imply that a special relationship exists between Israel and Azerbaijan concerning military weapons.
Nationally, Azerbaijan ranks in the top 45% of countries in GDP per capita, and it has significant oil wealth.
In other words, Azerbaijan can afford to buy weapons from any country it wants to. They buy from Israel because Israel makes some of the finest weapons in the world.
One final note - the ABC News article that Rattlesnake linked to was written by Associated Press correspondent Isabel DeBre.
Point One - the Associated Press despises Netanyahu, Jewish Conservatives, and religious Jews.
Point Two - Isabel DeBre has won multiple awards for her short stories and poems from the Hard Left "Poets for Human Rights."
