No, Saint Marys is not an island unless we get a mighty storm surge from a big hurricane. We are all the way in the southeast corner of Georgia. There is one way in and one way out. We are as far as you can get from Atlanta and stay in Georgia. We like it that way.

You are probably thinking of Jekyll Island, GA which is immediately SE of Brunswick. That's the high rent district of the GA coast.
