Just guessing, we had the Q threads to keep the regular
freepers happy. I did post in chat recently title had
X22 ref included an AWK link further down but not much
interest. Not sure how FR would ‘make bank’. I thought
it’s all on our shoulders thru regularly monthly donations
and kicking in on fundraiser.

That’s the point.
FR is struggling to gain donations and ‘keep the lights on’.
Yet, this link drives traffic to another website/blog.
That blog ‘makes bank’ according to the number of clicks it gets (advertisers like clicks).
JimRob has consistently said he would never have advertising here.
We should be cognizant of how we use FR to fund other websites while FReep-a-thons struggle.
If X22 has good “Q-content” then repost it here or have the blog-owner join us.
In the spirit of our blessed hummy-gummy, I’ll continue to point out clickbait that causes FreeRepublic to financially struggle.
