There is circumstantial evidence that Islam emerged out of a heretical Christian sect, the "Arian heresy," which did not agree with the emerging Catholic power relating to the divinity of Jesus, and migrated to the deserts where their own prophet appeared.

Incidentally, I read this in a book by a Catholic scholar.

I'm fairly convinced Muhammad family was Cabal(Babylonian mystics.) Remember they came to trade. They where the money changers and so on. Muhammad was a white guy with red hair. Queen Elizabeth II is the 43 great granddaughter of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Doesn’t matter if it’s true the Saudis believe it. He fell out of favor with that family.
He took ideas from every belief but in my opinion mostly from a tribe of Jewish people called the Banu Nadir. When Muhammad left Mecca on what was the Hijrah (journey to Yathrib (Medina)) The Banu Nadir helped him a great deal with food, shelter and their first Mosque. Muhammad later enslaved them and one of them killed Muhammad with a poison(lye) lamb which he died two years later.

The two largest christian Tribes in the peninsula were Kahlan and Qahtani mostly formed in Yemen but before the war with Persia that are Zoroastrianism. That war took place when Muhammad was living in Mecca. The capital was in today Sudan. Look at the Kingdom of Aksum just before Muhammad they converted from Judaism to Christianity
