In light of the attack on Israel where are we in the Bible?
Israel is going to obviously retaliate and take a lot of land in the process.
We are very close to an Antichrist coming onto the scene..
You must have misunderstood me. I do not disagree with their eschatology. It just shouldn’t;t be tossed around like a football.
Of course there is that passage about the whore of Babylon but.. oh, never mind.
attacks began hitting the state of Israel since its formation in 1948, long before the Hal Lindzey’s 1970 book, “ The Late, Great , Planet Earth”.
In my time, I have heard Lindzey, and several well-known tv preachers use that timeframe.
So, here we go again!
A nation that began with 13 Colonies, like Christ and His 12, and grew to 50 states, like the Church grew at 50, may stick around as long as the Church does.
Or at least as long as the lawless woman riding a Beast lasts.
That's a simile, not an equivalence.
It’s been 2 ‘days’ since His death, burial and resurrection.
That’s 2,000 years..
There’s 2,000 specifically referenced in both the Old and New Testament..
In the Old:
About 2,000 cubits of distance that Israel was to keep away from the Ark as they passed over into the Promised Land.
In the New:
A legion (6,000) of demons entered about 2,000 swine...
Swine, an unclean animal, is not to be eaten or touched by Israel.
A spiritual picture of about 2,000 unclean doctrines of demon years in the last 2,000 of Satan’s 6,000 years..
The 2 days, 2,000 years,is almost completed..
Scholars give 30,31,33 AD as His death, burial and resurrection given the 40 year period Jerusalem was given until 70 AD..
2023 is about 2,000 years.
So is 2024, etc..
Hundreds of more years could also be about 2,000.
But about 2,000 is just about up if 30,31,33 AD was a marker for the deliverance of Israel bondage by the blood of The Passover Lamb.
And instead of just 40 year wilderness, it’s been 40 x 50 or about 2,000 years in the wilderness, for Israel. This time, Spiritual Israel aka Church..

A convert to Judaism have a right to claim citizenship in Israel.
It’s incredible how many Christians believe that in order to be one of God’s Chosen people, you must essentially first reject his son.
