We said it on FR.
China EV push is to destroy the mainstreet EV market and capture it for themselves.

Battery-powered electric vehicles are, at best, suitable only for a niche market. And that is just about saturated already.

Much better would be hydrogen-fueled electric vehicles, but the infrastructure for producing, distributing and retailing hydrogen does not exist in any reasonable economic feasibility. Really CHEAP electrical power generation, in the form of a modern nuclear power generation plant, used to produce hydrogen from water found in saline or brackish lagoons, and sold in containers capable of holding the hydrogen under high pressure, which could be swapped out at refueling stations with a similar tank already on the electric vehicle. Much like propane tanks.

Is this the ultimate endgame behind China Joe’s irrational push to destroy the auto industry and push electric vehicles?

The EU’s Digital Services Act just went into force for a reason.

The EU has a Deep State, too.

And there’s doesn’t want a healthy middle class, people to have freedom of movement any more than ours or the UK’s does.
