LOL...same here in July. A huge pile in the front yard. He or she snuck in and out under cover of darkness without alerting the dog or us. We’ve seen them about once a year for almost six years.
You could tell that it was grass eaters poop. Moose metabolism has a ways to go before they go into winter twig and bark eating phase. I don’t mess with the moose.
