Conservative conspiracy theorists are apparently convinced that an upcoming emergency broadcast is going to turn everyone with a Covid-19 vaccine into zombies.
FEMA's national Emergency Alert System — recognisable by the startling beep heard on the radio or television prior to an announcement — will test its delivery capabilities on Wednesday at approximately 2.20pm est. The test will include both the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts.
While the EAS will be broadcast to radios and televisions, the WEA will be sent to mobile phone users bearing the text “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”

Had to restart the phone to get around the Operating System override.
The noisy part of the alert was repeated one more time, but this time without the annoying, tyrannical “OK” requirement.
Then...all clear.
Someone is pulling the left’s chain and they are falling for it hook, line, and sinker.
What a bunch of gullible idiots.
I didn’t hit OK either. I just did the red off button and it cleared it. Then I went to Notifications and deleted it.

Why not? You do know the survival rate for polio was also over 98%?

Ah, ‘conspiracy theorists’ are at it again! When the conspiracy becomes a reality, it will all be made to go away. The story repeats itself over and over again. Does anyone now believe the jab was safe and effective? Remember how the ‘fact checkers’ all labeled the critics who were telling the truth as just another conspiracy? This storyline is getting mighty old.

The fact that polio and covid have essentially the same mortality rate isn’t a joke. What is a joke is claiming that the covid mortality rate is a joke while ignoring the fact that polio had the same rate.
