If it’s President Trump, how much would his trial schedule interfere with his duties as Speaker? Giving the shenanigans of the DemonKKKrats, they might succeed, while Trump is sidetracked with a trial, in a vote to return America to the Confederacy. That is no exaggeration.
I think all trials would be suspended while he was in office. Not super familiar with the laws reguarding this since it’s not a position elected by the people.
