He should look at the big picture. Regardless of bad drafting he was of an age that the right move for the team should be look for their future QB. He especially should know that since looking to their future was why they drafted him. He could have been a professional. But he chose to be a child. There was nothing passive aggressive about them drafting him. And nothing passive aggressive about drafting his replacement. The team is bigger than a player.
Yes yet another home playoff loss for Rodgers. He did that a lot.
Also keep in mind that that season was after they gave him the big “don’t be mad” raise. It’s a hard cap league. When you’re paying your aging a big pile of money you’ve got less to acquire talent.
Green Bay’s attitude should have been: fulfill your contract or go away. Petulance has always been a defining attitude for him. Look how often he would stop targeting receivers after a drop. Sure drops suck, but he ain’t gonna get better if you’re not throwing to him. Not to mention you made the opposing D’s job easier.
He was an amazing talent. But he still manages to have more ego than talent. And he’s always eager to let his ego impact performance. I’m glad he went to a crappy team. He deserves all the losing he’s going to do there
You are ignoring that they wouldn’t spend one first round pick on the offense.
Do you think Jordan Love will be that good? I hope he is, but it seems unlikely.
