kiryandil -- “Aren't you worried that this impacts the numerous updates from Luzern and various other European capitals?” UMCRevMom@aol.com -- "Of course, you must mean CAPITOLs."It is amusing that she chose to incorrectly correct you by writing in capital letters -- "CAPITOLs."63 posted on 9/30/2023, 11:28:29 AM by UMCRevMom@aol.com
That she cites Merriam-Webster is also amusing, for among the meanings of "capital," using Merriam-Webster, one finds:
3 [2 capital] a : a city serving as a seat of government b : a city preeminent in some special activityMerriam-Webster also informs of "capitol:"
1 a : a building in which a state legislative body meets b : a group of buildings in which the functions of state government are carried outThe funny things about being incorrectly correct and then doubling down by assertion is that it eventually unwinds.
Seems someone -- not you -- was "flummoxed by capitol and capital" and several in the following exchanges of entertaining comments were not.
Speaking of "flummoxed," I wager that many who challenge you based on your interesting moniker never bothered to look at the seemingly strange and perhaps Slavic name (to them), to learn it is Tolkeinesque. As in, "the eldest son and heir of the High-king Isildur, Elendur Kiryandil (Q.'Star Servant') died alongside his father and his brothers Aratan and Ciryon...." Of course, one has to have noted the footnotes, since this is manuscript stuff for the interest of the few, the truly curious and the better educated.
One also observes that the exchange as to "CAPITOLs" ends with posting other stuff -- rather like the MSM. Look over there. So after you comes censor.net.....
More on that shortly. Amusing greetings to you, son of Siriondil....

“All partisan editorials presented as “news,” all the time.”
Speaking of partisan editorials here’s two Russian commentators from state owned Russia 1 discussing a nuclear attack on the United States.

Nice friends you got there.
Yes, the Consortium has been posting content from censor.net for quite a long while now.
It never crossed my mind that their news feed may have a spigot here.
Heads-up, Allegra!
He looks different out of uniform...
I didn't bother enlightening the mouth-breathing unibrow.
A fascinating accusation, assertion without proof. Irony does not assist in general.
As to the two jackasses blathering on Russia 1 and replayed via Russian Media Monitor via YouTube, we can agree. They are talking head jackasses. "Take out" in what sense of the word?
“A child’s book?” Well, I read them when I was in college, so I guess I was kind of a child.
But my well-read parents read the books as full-grown adults and thoroughly enjoyed them. In fact, it was my mom who recommended them to me. As an aside, we had a cat named Pippin who lived to be 20. 😏
An interesting question. Sounds sort of cowboy, doesn't it? Or maybe a little like "change of management?"
One need place Petraeus in some sort of context.
General David H. Petraeus (US Army, Retired), Partner, KKR and Chairman, KKR Global Institute
Okay. So what is KKR of which he is a partner, then?
A big investment firm. "As of June 30, 2023, KKR has a team of over 2,500 employees, consultants, and advisors, including more than 720 investment professionals working across 20 industries in offices around the world." KKR.
And "KKR & Co. Inc., also known as Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., is an American global investment company that manages multiple alternative asset classes, including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate, credit, and, through its strategic partners, hedge funds. As of December 31, 2022, the firm had completed more than 690 private equity investments in portfolio companies with approximately $700 billion of total enterprise value." Wiki.

Money. Money. War. Money. War. Money....
Because one should remember:
"...a 2001 moratorium on the sale of land to foreigners had always represented an obstacle to unrestrained privatisation. As post-Maidan governments turned again to the IMF for financing, aid was conditioned on a series of land reforms that would finally allow foreign corporations to acquire vast tracts of the country's farmland. In 2020, Zelenskyy gave in to the IMF's demands and finally repealed the moratorium. 'Agribusiness interests and oligarchs will be the primary beneficiaries of such reform,' said Olena Borodina of the Ukrainian Rural Development Network. 'This will only further marginalise smallholder farmers and risks severing them from their most valuable resource>/B>.' But the World Bank could barely contain its excitement, gushing: 'This is, without exaggeration, a historic event.' Even though the new law isn't set to come into force until next year, US and Western European agrobusinesses have already bought up millions of hectares of Ukraine's farmland — with 10 private companies reportedly controlling most of it."

“Nice friends you got there.”
You have that right! These two Russian commentators are quite the clowns!
CALL TO PRAYER? If half what I read about Ukraine is true. child trafficking, money laundering for biden, organ harvesting, etc why would I pray for them?
Regardless of who is behind RMM the video speaks for itself.
It seems to be modeled after Memri which does the same thing for the Muslims.
I came across Russian Media Monitor in the past week or so. It’s been interesting to see what Russians are saying about their imperial war of conquest.
Please PM ME LINK :)
Done! And here it is for our pro-Ruzzian friends to see...

“If half what I read about Ukraine is true”
It is not true.
That is why I take time to post on a variety of articles.
The Pro-invasion squad are basically distractors and detractors that try to prevent their false agitprop from being revealed.
