It’s the entire US.
About 3 weeks ago I spotted a K35 flying routes over muh location.
He was at 3000 ft., close enough to wave...I did!
Got to the office and tracked his route.
Route was most of the late morning over the Bay City/Saginaw area.
What made me take notice was he was refueling what appeared to be private airplanes at 3000 ft over a High Consequence Area (HCA).
The area is well populated but it didn’t make sense because this area is high consequence due to The Dow manufacturing industrial park being under neath.
Industrial park makes a big BOOM with lots of wild chemicals being released.
Still don’t know what that was; I know it wasn’t training.
But, seeing a K35 flying overhead at 3000 ft and trailing the fueling line is REALLY cool.
Can you get private aircraft with aerial refueling capabilities? How much would it cost to call up a tanker for a top off?
