If not for his given name, Patrick, I would have first considered a connection to Fort McHenry and the War of 1812.

The valiant defense of the fort by 1,000 dedicated Americans inspired Francis Scott Key to write "The Star-Spangled Banner" during the Battle of Baltimore, September 13-14, 1814.
The War of 1812 has been called our "Second War of Independence."
Ft McHenry was named for the first Secretary of War. Proud to say he also represented Maryland at the Continental Congress.
