Every time I hear that song I'm once again a nine-year old with my transistor radio. That was a looong time ago.
Me too. I was a youngster, Maybe 10 to 12, and was with my family on vacation in the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. A hurricane hit and an earthen dam broke and washed out the road and for a while we had no way to get out. My parents were worried, but I thought it was great. The cabin they had rented had a radio and the only station we could get clearly just had songs on a loop. This is one of them. I also remember Carly Simon "You're so Vain" and I will probably remember others after I post this.
