I like the latest Tombstone. It was great with Val Kilmer.
You’re correct about Tombstone.
It was also much better than “Wyatt Earp” with Kevin Costner that came out about the same time.
I saw Hour of the Gun yesterday. It was practically the entire Tombstone movie. Same dialog, same scenes.
A lot of differences but basically the same.
I assume it’s because they are both very close to the true story.
I didn’t like it at first... I thought Val overplayed it... but after seeing it a couple times... He nailed it. I guess my perspective changed. Its a great movie.
On movie I thought had the wrong actor was 8 Seconds... I thought Luke Perry was all wrong, I just kept seeing his “Dylan Michael McKay” character from Beverly Hills 90210...
Maybe I should watch it again... I was pretty tore up and threw up in the Girls restroom. lol... I went with a bunch of girls that were in love with him....
Also Band of Brothers “Captain Sobel” aka Ross from friends... didn’t like him at first too, but I just rewatched it (its on netflix now) He was perfect.
It’s got to be hard for actors to brake away from their Iconic characters.
One guy I really think does a great job is Brad Pitt. “Money Ball” was outstanding. “Fury” too...
