People who get triggered over this have probably never seen a professional level sporting event: Almost no one sings the national anthem. Ever.
There are plenty of reasons not to care for this woman. Not expressing herself in song is not one of them.
The hyperbolic mouth breathing over this is just stupid.
It would be harder for the Left to divide us if this country was more homogenous like it used to be. You see in Japan, everyone is Japanese. I don't see any division going on there.
I see some division in Canada, especially in the western provinces like Alberta. Canada is very diverse and they're bringing in a lot of immigrants.
I don't have problem with legal immigrants, for most part it's good for our economy. But the Left is able to water us down our vote by bringing in immigrants.
That's why Joe Biden is keeping the borders open. So Texas will eventually turn blue. And that's game over for USA.

It’s funny that you mention the Methodist Church.
In my small hometown, the Methodist Church was one of the most popular churches. As a teen, I attended several services and considered joining. The preacher was married to one of my teachers.
Today, I drove through my hometown for the first time in a while. I was shocked to find that the Methodist Church was no longer Methodist. It is now called “Grace Church”. I wonder if the woke insanity is why the church is no longer Methodist.
The current US administration is doing terrible things with respect to the border. Several administrations previously have also treated this problem with egregious levels of neglect.
All this in spite of public opinion, for decades.
The reason for this is because special interests want to keep the cost of labor down. This conflicts with the interest of most of the public, which wants less labor competition to keep their incomes up. That is the core of it. It is a straight matter of class war.
As I recall, it was a junior-high team that beat them. Which would mean 8th graders, I believe.

I almost watched a few minutes of a televised sporting event, at an airport boarding gate, about thirty years ago. (I think that it may have been one of those sports involving a ball.) I doubt that my life has been any poorer because of that "missed" opportunity.
