Three years before Quoc Le was arrested for running an alleged international fencing operation behind a Tenderloin boba tea shop, he was accused of similar crimes, after Walnut Creek and San Francisco police officers allegedly found him in possession of property that had been swiped from cars.
In the time between Le’s 2019 case and his arrest by the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office this week, Le is believed to have bought and resold an untold number of stolen laptops, phones and other devices, many of them stemming from the area’s intractable smash-and-grab epidemic, according to prosecutors.
His previous arrest raises questions about what happened to his 2019 case and how he was able to keep his alleged fencing operation running. Oh......fencing. As in stolen goods, I get it. I thought he was hosting duels or something.
But....are you immune to iocaine powder?
