Frans Hals...... I never heard of this Dutch dude but I like his paintings that you posted. I doubt an artist today can do as well.
I haven’t heard of him as well. Probably not the kind of subject matter of interest to artists today. While I am not an art collector, or even an enthusiast of art, I would think, but could be wrong 🙂, that there are artists today who could replicate the work. But that is all speculation on my part, and you may be correct. 🙂
