Assuming Dr. Risch is right and some kind of Turbo Cancer is happening this lines up with a very interesting conspiracy theory.
People get cancer every day. Treatment is expensive, relatively effective for a few years, then eventually cancer wins. Remember people die of cancer every day. I would assume that up until 2020, cancer rates were pretty flat based on population size.
Now if some megalomaniac found a way to Turbo Up the cancer growth/spread so treatment was minimized or eliminated, think of the vast amount of $$$$ and resources saved. Having people die of Cancer, heart disease/failure is a sneaky way to cull the herd of humanity.
Part of a slow acting Bio-Weapon??? Is the end goal to have the number of deaths outpace the number of births???

Most cancers, but not all, are relatively slow to spread and can be treated in time. Certain cancers are fast and spread quickly, like pancreatic cancers.
Imagine that a way was discovered to trigger cancers that are already ‘in place’ or are ‘in check’ by the body’s own immune system, to spread immediately from a stage one to stage four, all at once......................

That might seem logical but in cases of a quick death or a cure found, they lose all the money they’d make treating it for life. They don’t WANT a cure!
