To Impeach, or Not to Impeach, That is the Question

Republicans may not get a conviction but sunlight is the best disinfectant.

William Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, “To be or not to be: that is the question.” I ask the same about impeaching President Joe Biden – to impeach or not impeach. Speaker Kevin McCarthy answered that question, and the process is moving forward, at least in appearance.

Here is what Hamlet then said,

Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,

Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,

And by opposing end them?

Hamlet is wondering if it is better to end one’s suffering through suicide or to take the slings and arrows of “outrageous fortune” by fighting on. Which is preferable? Will the Republicans, known as “the stupid party,” botch this, committing political suicide in November 2024? Or will they finally grow a spine and push back against the Democrats and administrative state?

I know how former President Donald Trump would answer as he did even before he was elected president. In a famous October 2016 speech he promised, “Nevertheless, I take all of these slings and arrows gladly for you.”

Will impeaching Biden be a political home run or lead to a “sea of troubles” in November 2024? Many have pontificated on the merits and pitfalls of impeachment. What is the best course forward?

President Biden’s transgressions certainly rise to the level of “high crimes and misdemeanors.” His family sold the former vice president’s influence to foreign players, including countries not friendly to U.S. interests.

I say impeach. I don’t care if democRAT voters will have sympathy for Pedo. They are going to steal the election anyway so it is better to go down fighting.

An impeachment inquiry will give the House subpoena powers over Biden's tax records and bank records.

But Slimy McCarthy must first hold a vote on the House floor to authorize an impeachment inquiry in order to give the committees the proper legal subpoena powers, not just hold a press conference.

The far-left turd rollers didn’t have a problem impeaching President Trump. I don’t see where the Bidenskyyyy crime family should be treated any differently.

He does NOT have to have a floor vote. Pelosi didn’t.

Dems treat impeachment as a hammer, why shouldn’t we? Maybe the Dems will learn to more careful about what they do...

Kevin McCarthy needs to go ahead and hold the impeachment vote. Even if there are 10 moderates who refuses to impeach Biden. Fine. Get them on the record. Then we can defeat them in the primaries in 2024.

He does NOT have to have a floor vote. Pelosi didn’t.

As Nancy said, that is Hogwash. Nancy did hold a floor vote, but she did so AFTER regular standing house committees performed an initial investigation.

House Republicans have already done the preliminary investigations, including hearings with IRS and FBI whistle-blowers. Nancy's "no vote" step has already been done, and it's time to move to Nancy's "vote" stage.

It is time for a formal impeachment inquiry vote and the granting of subpoena powers to select committees.

The impeachment should include a myriad of charges of giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.

The after vote was for the first impeachment. There was NO VOTE held for the second impeachment.

“Hamlet is wondering if it is better to end one’s suffering through suicide or to take the slings and arrows of “outrageous fortune” by fighting on.”

Not a hint of thoughts of suicide in those lines. Extraneous point, but the nonsense that has been written about the character Hamlet...

There was NO VOTE held for the second impeachment.

There was also no special subpoena powers required. Trump was tried for his J6 involvement, and it was rushed to be held before he left office.

BINGO!!! Get the truth and facts out there. Doing any less provides aid and comfort to the ENEMY. In this case, DEMOCRATS and the DEEP STATE are the ENEMY.

Republican FAILURE to expose the truth is failure to their oath to the Constitution. Senate will NEVER convict, but conviction isn’t the goal. EXPOSING THE TRUTH is the ONLY GOAL!!!

And then the DoJ can't hide documents about the Bidens by claiming they are still investigating a crime.
