Here's a hoot. In looking through some of the latest exchanges, I came across the comment after yours and merely "connect the dots."
BabaOreally (who states he is in Ukraine) wrote some time back: "the ordinary people here in Ukraine do not support in any way the GH agenda. / the majority are deeply conservative Christian and abhor the homo agenda. / their women are the most feminine. / queers are despised by everyone."

UMCrevmom wrote: "I very much appreciate both your 1st person comments & updates on Ukraine."

Yup.

My thoughts:

Takes a few moments to address accurately. I do believe we, as well as other NATO nations, are already providing humanitarian aid and re-furbished older weapons.

Your idea for production for future weaponry and taxes on these military supplies to help fund the adoption and stocking of newer, better weapons is excellent. However, only if money is delegated to military & kept out of the hands of politicians: thinking Social Security.

I agree, military supply sales would benefit our trade balance and economy in general.

I totally agree with this stimulus of potential profits to entice our MIC to produce & update weapons. Currently, some of your suggestions may be occurring to a lessor degree. I agree HOPEFULLY such a military program will not be needed for an extended time. But, strengthening our military does promote peace over having a degraded, weak military weaponry.

17 Sep: Ukrainians HUNTING DOWN BIG SHIPS of Russian Fleet in All Over Black Sea |Ukraine War Update

The war between Ukraine and Russia has turned the Black Sea into a living hell for the Kremlin. A few days ago, residents of the Crimean peninsula, one of the most strategic centers of the Black Sea, woke up to a very difficult morning. In Yevpatoria, the Ukrainians destroyed the Russian S-400 air defense systems with Neptune missiles. But the loss of the $1.2 billion air defense system was only a small sign of the shifting balance in the Black Sea.

Kiev’s attacks on Crimea were primarily aimed at Russia’s naval fleet. For the Ukrainian military, targeting the Russian naval fleet in the Black Sea meant attacking Sevastopol, the peninsula’s most important port city, with drones and naval drones. This is because the ships of the Russian Navy are usually based at naval bases and shipyards in Sevastopol.

Currently, the Russian Black Sea Fleet consists of four Project 22160 corvettes. These are the Vasily Bykov, Dmitry Rogachev, Pavel Derzhavin and Sergey Kotov. Accordingly, the Ukrainians, in order to destroy Russia’s most important naval vessels, turned to the Black Sea, the Crimean peninsula and, in particular, the Sevastopol naval bases.

As a result of these Ukrainian actions, the sounds of missiles, drones and explosions have finally begun to be heard in the most strategic area of the Black Sea. These sounds signaled the collapse of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. Russia was going to face surprise losses as a result of the Ukrainian army’s attacks on its naval fleet in Crimea.

Here are all the details of the moments that shifted the cornerstones in Crimea and the Black Sea and the final point of the war in these regions. First of all, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, yesterday an unmanned drone belonging to the Ukrainian military attacked the Russian missile carrier Askold in the Black Sea.

As a result of the attack by Ukrainian naval drones, the Russian missile ship Askold suffered heavy damage. Before the Russians could recover from this attack, just hours after the attack on the Askold, the Ukrainians targeted another Russian ship.

The Ukrainian military’s Sea Baby naval drone struck the Samum missile ship at the entrance to Sevastopol Bay. The impact hit the right aft side of the ship, causing serious damage and causing it to lose speed. Sources claim that the Russians had to tow the Samum for repairs with a large trim on the stern and a slope on the starboard side.

For this attack, the Ukrainians used an experimental model of a seaplane capable of operating in a storm and hiding behind high waves. During the special operation, the wave height reached 1.5-2 meters. After these critical attacks, Russia lost 2 important naval ships in the Black Sea. However, Moscow’s losses were not limited to these two ships. Just hours before the attack on the Askold and Samum missile carriers, the Ukrainians had carried out another horrific operation against the Russian fleet in the Black Sea.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that they damaged the ships of the Vasily Bykov Project 22160. While Russian media sources did not share many details with the press after the attack, the Ukrainians had already started posting videos on social media to celebrate their success. Immediately after this critical news, a video emerged confirming the successful attack of Ukrainian naval branded drones on one of the Russian patrol vessels, the Vasily Bykov.

The Brander drone hit the ship at 17 seconds. In addition to the attack on Vasily Bykov, the Russians also reported the destruction of five unmanned boats, which, according to their version, tried to attack the Black Sea leet patrol ship Sergei Kotov. However, it was reported that the Sergei Kotov was also damaged in this attack. In other words, the Ukrainian attack resulted in the disabling of two more Russian ships.

So when was the signal for Kiev’s attacks on the Russian Black Sea Fleet?

The day before the Ukrainian forces attacked the Vasily Bykov and Sergei Kotov ships, they had already launched striking attacks on Russian naval vessels on the Crimean peninsula. With 10 cruise missiles and a large number of naval drones in Crimea, Ukrainian forces carried out a dawn raid on the Russian Navy shipyard in Sevastopol, again in a massive breakthrough to eliminate 2 Russian navy members.

As a result of this attack, the Rostov-on-Don submarine of the Russian Navy and the Ropucha landing ship Minsk were reportedly destroyed. Both ships were undergoing repairs in dry dock. The Russian frigate Admiral Makarov and the small missile carrier Buyan-M were also damaged by the attacks in this area.

Putin raises kidnapped Ukrainian children to fight in future Russian wars’ | Life on the frontline

The UK imposed sanctions on a number of Russians linked to the abduction of Ukrainian children in July this year.
British officials said the deportations were designed to “erase Ukrainian cultural and national identity” through the relocation of the children to a network of re-education camps.

In this episode of Life on the frontline, the charity Vans Without Borders (VWB) interviewed a Ukrainian soldier stationed in Zaporizhzhia, who said that not only are these children taught to hate Ukraine, but also placed in military training to fight for Russia in future wars.

“They are raised in the military… they are trained to throw grenades and dig in from a very young age,” the soldier said. “They take the most precious thing away from them, they take their childhood.”

It is not known how many children have been abducted as part of Russia’s program. Ukrainian officials say they have identified almost 20,000 victims, but some fear the true total number may be far higher.

Exclusive documentary mini-series by Valerie Browne Watch the whole Life on the Frontline series:
• Life on the Frontline

In this three-part series special, Valerie Browne, a Telegraph video journalist, joined the charity near the front line in Ukraine.

She travelled with VWB to a Zaporizhzhia army base approximately 30km from the front line, where they were shown a weapons cache and taken to a practice shooting range.

Jack Ross is a volunteer aid worker who heads the charity VWB. He and his team have braved countless dangers and traveled along bombed-out roads since March 2022. They have brought relief to vulnerable people left to starve in the wake of Putin’s invasion.

After more than a year of distributing aid across Ukraine, VWB has forged contacts within the Ukrainian army and security intelligence forces, who grant them interviews with some of the most hard-to-reach people.

Dam fool? When a criminal organization takes advantage of a ethnic and cultural historical problem and insist that those criminal organizations stand away and let them settle it among themselves..are dam fools?

Because that is exactly what happened here. A criminal organization headed by the USA has seen a chance to upset what little chance of harmony that was left in that region.

Before that, they-the Ukrainian’s, saw a chance to eliminate ANYONE who was NOT Ukrainian within their country. The result was a general killing of thousands upon thousands of Poles and Jews as well as many other ethnic peoples within that place. That generally became known as the Wolyn massacres. In the first of FEB of the year this started, what happened within the Polish legislature and general government concerning Ukraine? They passed law banning the Bandera ideology-which resulted in a harsh rebuke by one..guess who? Israel! Why?
Here is a quote from someone about Bandera..”Like other young Ukrainian nationalists, he combined extremism with religion and used religion to sacralize politics and violence.” Historian John-Paul Himka writes that Bandera remained true to the fascist ideology to the end.”

So the question is..WHY did so many in the west condemn the passing of that law when it is actually well within the Poles right to ban a rabid and radical ideology that had a great lot to do with this conflict.

Many with any sense have the answer. Corruption between the west and the Ukraine.

Bennets correct. There have been atrocities committed on both sides. Like all ethnic wars. But I would like to have him explain the mass graves that the Ukrainians resist anyone to excavate from the Wolyn massacre.

And none of this covers the Stalin crimes.

END THIS WAR. Install the Tsar in the eastern areas of Ukraine since the Slavs are incapable of democratic elected leaders.

Your proposal reminded me of the Military Keynesianism economic policy. I do remember Milton Friedman thought that Keynes’s political ‘gift’ to stabilize the economy was harmful: 1st whatever economic analysis, “benevolent dictatorship” is likely sooner or later to lead to a totalitarian society. 2nd Keynes’s economic theories appealed more to ‘politics’ than economist group. deficit spending would evolve into a permanent.

I think ‘Military Keynesianism’ could create the separation between spending and revenue giving just short-term gains. Also, too much trust & power entrusted without considering increased opportunities for political corruption. Or, just maybe I have lost trust in the integrity of the typical politician. Anyhow, that’s my take on it.

I will look forward to hearing other opinions as well.

>> you’re blaming The Jews for what exactly? Speak clearly.

He can’t because that would likely lead to a zot. Instead, it’s dog whistles and barely disguised jabs.

But if you look at the poster’s posting history it’s probably a bit of everything that is “wrong”, from the decline of popular culture to the “replacement of Whites”. Fill in the blank. Insert caricature of a Jew gif with curly hair and exaggerated nose here.

If course Ze, an ethnic Jew, in charge of Ukraine, like the Russian propaganda which he is wittingly or unwittingly parroting here alleges, is laughing diabolically as “brotherly Slavs” slaughter each other. Did I summarize the sentiment nicely? Insert Jew caricature gif again.

These undercurrents on FR have been getting stronger for the past 4-5 years. Ever since covid and Jan 6.

Some paleoconservatives have been so demoralized by the events of the past several years, they have gone to blaming traditional targets of the paleo-Right and are channeling Rivello P Oliver. If you don’t know who he is, look him up.

The reality is bit more complex, but some people yearn for a simple explanation and a clear “The Other” to blame. There is a certain comfort in simple explanations.
