I don’t do a lot of prepping but I do have a month or two of canned meats, chicken broth, tomatoe sauce, beans, and some pasta.

What I need to know is how do I make sure tap water will be good to drink if kept for several months. I have saved the gallon jugs my distilled water for my C-Pap machine thinking I can now put tap water in them.

You can also make sure your over the counter meds and first aid supplies are fresh.

You can actually get years past the expiration dates on most meds. A few, not, like thyroid meds and I hear Penicillin can go bad and You DON’T want to take that when it does.

You might want to consider a Berkey or similar filter… I have filtered creek water and rainwater with it and both were fine. I still boil it, just to be safe.
