I spent a lot of time in USO lounges in my 30 years of military duty. Quiet, not often overcrowded, and when it was, we were all considerate of each other. Never saw anybody pull rank or be a jerk. We all saw it as a privilege. Denver was my favorite.

I normally fly AA out of DTW, there is no airline club (they closed the Detroit Admirals Club with the new terminal), but there is a USO, I make sure to support it. And more so make sure no active duty or enlisted is put out by me being there when I use it.
