Black mamba does that, and they can move at 12 mph speed.
Growing up in India I have witnessed 2 large cobra’s in a mating dance, on my father’s farm, and they were taller than 3 or 4 feet off the ground.

I saw a TV show where HUNDREDS of these snakes were RUNNING after 2 sheep.....even up the hills!
