Well said, I gave my kids the slowest big hunk of American Iron I could find. I knew they would most likely have a few accidents before getting the hang of driving.
Definitely parental FAIL. Giving a 16 y/o a Porsche and allowing them to be out at 3AM. Any alcohol or drugs involved? Should have been driving a used Buick Encore or such. Looking at their photos you can see the stupidity on the girls faces. Granted they are kids so all the more reason to place stricter monitoring of them at age 16. The parents will live with this regret and negligence for the rest of their lives.
I see a bunch of jackasses making fun of a dead 16 year old. Par for the course on FR these days. So her daddy bought her a Porsch and yours didn’t. Doesn’t diminish the fact that a kid died probably doing something stupid, but she’s just as dead is if she were killed by stray gunfire in Chicago. Not all that funny
pretty much my first thoughts as well: clearly proximity to a Trump golf course was somehow at least partially responsible for said auto accident since the article felt it necessary to include said factoid ... is there ANYTHING bad that Donald J. Trump is NOT responsible for?
Like one of my peeves how the military is vilified by the media - “Joe Smith, a military veteran, shot and killed the store owner during the burglary”.
“$2.6 million is not much of a mansion in 2023”
LOL! ... but absolutely true ... asking price for the house across the street from me is a cool 4 mil (they ain’t gonna get that much), and it’s a very nice house and property, but it’s far from a “mansion” ...
Sorry you have misunderstood where our humor is pointed, the MSM. Yes, we all are sad that a 16 lost her life. We did not start the tie in to Trump with this tragic event, the MSM did. So, our arrows are pointed at the MSM for writing such a story.
Might be a vacation house.
Well, it IS Trump’s fault, you know.
I am in awe of the parenting that led to this.
It was the golf course, of course.
I’d classify it as a mansion level starter home. Compared to mine it’s a Palace. They would now trade it in for a pop up tent if it would bring their daughter back.
First cars for kids should be a junker. Giving a 16 year old a Porsche that can go 199 mph. What could go wrong.
So because she crashed her car near Trump’s golf course its a story..not the fact that this 16 yr old was driving like a damn buffoon and got herself killed
A woman teenage girl should never be driving a Porsche, never.
I have driven my 911 at MidOhio.
911 Longhood
“Florida car accident, Trump has golf course in Florida”
Therefore, it is obviously Trump’s fault.
Seriously, why is that detail part of the headline or even story at all? Do they want to allude some connection to Trump in the accident?
Not much of a mansion here in Florida.
Ugh, how terrible. I only recall my Reaganesque father doing two questionable things in his life. One of them was buying my (then) 60 year old mom with macular degeneration a turbo Maserati. I was her passenger only once and that's all it took to have a serious sit down with dad to end that! This poor girl did what 16 year old girls (or boys) are expected to do with a high performance machine!
in the 1965 my cousin was given a brand-new GTO for his sixteenth birthday. He totaled it one week later. Not hurt at all.
Throw Trumps name in the headline, make him sound responsible for this
