I don’t agree that Desantis is a poor campaigner. I think that the 4 indictments have won Trump an impenetrable sympathy vote among Republican voters. In my opinion that is bad judgement by those voters, and we all will pay a heavy price for it.

You are delusional.

Desantis is a TERRIBLE retail campaigner... You watch him on the stump, and he is absolutely abysmal. It’s pretty clear watching him delivering his stump speeches why he would have lost to a corrupt drug addict in 2018 if Trump hadn’t swooped in at the last minute to drag him over the finish line.

Desantis is just a very very bad retail politician, at least for someone who is gunning for the Presidency.

Sure he won re-election by 20 points... but he did so against Charlie Christ, a former Florida governor NO ONE WANTED... He was a turncoat.. Mickey Mouse would have beaten Christ in Florida, by a wide margin.

A guy who changed parties because he got beat in a Republican Primary... Then pretended to be an Independent before eventually going Democrat trying to continue his political career... No one in Fl wanted Christ... NO ONE..

Desantis would be eaten alive in true national campaign were he to be the nominee, he just doesn’t have it.... He is a smart guy and a competent executive, but he’s a TERRIBLE retail politician.

Desantis has been dropping since Jan, long before any indictments... that’s because back in Jan, folks didn’t know or see him if they were outside of FL, and they projected on him things that just weren’t there... the establishment was pushing him hard, and the more he got seen, the lower he polled... because he’s a louse retail politician.

I think you completely misunderstand Trump’s MAGA base. It’s true that the four indictments have only served to strengthen my support of Trump, but it has nothing to do with “sympathy.” It has everything to do with a steeled resolve to support a candidate who has been so disruptive in a corrupt political landscape. And the indictments are glaring symptoms of that corruption.

There are three key measures of the man’s legacy, in my book:

1. He has attracted the hatred of every political figure who is an @sshole in my book.

2. He’s probably the only President in history to leave office less wealthy than he was when he was inaugurated.

3. He doesn’t need the sh!t he is dealing with, but he’s back for more.

I want four more years of this man’s leadership because we won’t see another one like him for at least a hundred years.

Yeah, don't even mention that the 2020 election was stolen, but instead claim it's the indictments that are causing people to support Trump. Get real.

DeSantis bad on his feet / bad at extemporaneous speaking.

Not too good on a teleprompter either.

And he appears uncomfortable around the people whose vote he is seeking.

But other than that . . .

I don't disagree. But the truth is, the indictments have only made Trump stronger.

Thank Alvin Bragg.

So you are on the “democrats are indicting President Trump so he gains popularity and that means he will face our weak candidate Applesauce for Brains Biden so the democrats will WIN!!!!!” train?

The demonRats have something totally different up their sleeves that they haven’t revealed. They couldn’t care less about PDJT. If they cared, he would be Hillaried yesterday.

I don’t know what it is, but it will top the C-19 ballot fraud from 20.

Guarantee it.

Oh, so it's the voters' bad judgement, not the bad judgement on the part of the corrupt deep state/DOJ soviets? And the bad judgment of the quislings who go along with this persecution, or surrender to it?

You really don't get it. These are not normal times. If they take Trump down, we are never going back to normal times. If DeSantis, who I like as a governor, somehow wins the primary, or is handed it to him in the Convention, he will not win against the imbedded cheat machine. And even if he does, we will not go back to "normal" times.

They will take DeSantis down just as they did Trump. Even if he surrenders to every deep state/soviet demand.

” I think that the 4 indictments have won Trump an impenetrable sympathy vote among Republican voters”

-— It’s not just sympathy. If the “deep state” gets away with law-fare-ing their enemies, they will be emboldened. My vote for Trump is to stamp out this communist take over of our elections.

I agree. Trump was doing well but not spectacularly well until the indictments started coming down. Then the pent up anger of the Republican electorate kicked in and they’re now determined to nominate him as a big eff you to the Deep State.

He will win the nomination but has no path to the White House. He absolutely will not win Georgia, for example. By letting their anger outweigh their common sense, Republican primary voters will have invited four more years of democrat rule. Idiots.

I agree. Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis essentially made Trump the GOP nominee and I'm still of the opinion that 2024 will ultimately turn out to be a catastrophe, even if Trump is currently beating Biden in the polling.
