The additional security footage made public on Friday shows Young and two other women walking around the liquor department of the Columbus-area store. Young can be seen putting multiple bottles of alcohol into her purse and a tote bag while out of sight of the cash register. She and the two other women then leave without paying.
The additional bodycam footage also shows police officers quickly rendering medical aid to Young after she is shot. They break the window of her car, which had rolled into the brick wall of the supermarket, and pull her from the vehicle. The tote bag full of liquor is visible as they drag her from the car.

She did not ram her car into the cop. She slowly went forward at a less than walking speed for about 2 feet before the cop shot her.
Hate to break it to you.
But we don’t execute people in this country for shoplifting.
This shooting did t need to happen the first cop was handling it with concern for his safety.
I’d shoot the kid dead in a heartbeat if he had same mental and socially effed up desires to kill me like that ABF.
And some 5 year olds do. But back to reality, OK?
This woman is solely responsible for her death.
Yes. The obvious fact that she’s black is more important than anything else.
I see that.
If she looked like a young Raquel Welch……would that upset your narrative?

At 40 seconds you can see the speed at which she hit the cop threw him onto the hood.
She repeatedly ignored orders and basically committed suicide by cop.
Cops never overreact or use unnecessary use of force /s
VIDEO: Family rushing to save dog’s life held at gunpoint by police
The family had no weapons or warrants attached to their vehicle or names. “I can’t believe you pulled your gun on my kid, sir,” Albrecht told Nevarez during the traffic stop. “It’s policy,” Nevarez replied. “Oh yeah, I hear ya,” Albrecht replied.
KRQE asked for a copy of that policy and the use of force policy from Bernalillo Police. However, those policies don’t explain what happened here.
BPD’s policy does call for de-escalation, stating, “the level of force employed must be commensurate with the threat posed by the subject and the seriousness of the situation.”
Officer Nevarez claims Albrecht didn’t immediately pull over, which Albrecht disputes. “As soon as I noticed the lights, I pulled over,” Albrecht told KRQE.
KRQE Investigates obtained the audio from the officer’s radio calls to dispatch that day. “Attempting to pull over a red escalade on 550 eastbound, they’re not stopping at this point,” Officer Nevarez’s voice is heard on the radio.
“Now it’s stopping,” Nevarez said. The dispatcher confirms, “10-4 confirming the vehicle is stopping.”
Thirty-three seconds after his initial call to dispatch, Nevarez announced over the radio that they were stopped. “His brake lights are activated. Chevron, 550,” Nevarez said.
“No one came at him. No one threatened him,” Albrecht recalled. “And again, like, what did he see that scared him so bad? I mean, this guy was angry.”

Raquel Welch? First your train of thought jumped the tracks as you brought up a 5 year old kid. Now your delusional brain is centered on Raquel Welch?
Get help, my friend. Tell your psychiatrist the meds aren’t working.
I’m out. Before you bring Donald Trump or puppies into your silly arguments.
Yep, an automobile can considered a deadly weapon. What she did is called Shoplifting, Obstruction of Justice and Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Peace Officer.
Not saying yer stupid
That would be redundant, since you already know.
You don’t see it in that video but she hit him hard enough to lift his feet off the ground.
That was ridiculous.
Over zealous cops will end up costing taxpayers millions and taking innocent lives.
How easily could someone have been killed in that situation?
“I thought I saw a gun.” The cop was already caught in numerous lies.
Yep. What many people have said is that cops are stupid for “getting in the way” of a fleeing car.
Yet this procedure has been standard training for decades. And there have been many lawsuits regarding this procedure. Yet courts have routinely ruled in favor of the cops.
What this 21 year old ABF didn’t know is that running her mouth and running from the law was suicidal. Someone should have told her.
Why was the first cop that was on the scene leaning up against the car next to the woman’s car, no gun drawn and speaking with her?
Why did he not see her as a threat?
Why did the second cop rush out and make the entire situation explode?
Yup.
Ex military as police, have caused plenty of the same issues here as regular police. Excessive use of force is a big issue among ex mil who become police.
They paused the video just as a shot was fired. The car kept rolling in idle because the woman was shot and killed. Here are the screen shots the moment the shot was fired from 2 different angles.
“The video shows Young driving forward, hitting the second officer, whose feet are seen off the ground when he fires a single shot through the windshield.”
Why was the second officer there, you ask? To prevent the suspect from driving away. Why was his gun drawn? To defend himself in case the suspect decided to try to run over him. Why did the situation explode? Because the suspect did just that.
By all means we need to give police more power to radically and indeterminately apply power of enforcement via death. Police at the capital are so pristine and trustworthy on Jan 6 2021. Screw the PoPo. Deadly enforcement of the corrupt judiciary.
