My 40 year old brother was killed in an auto accident back in 2001. After a week in a coma and brain dead, the plug was pulled and all his organs were donated.
I have a copy of the thank you letter sent to our family by the recipient who received his heart.
Years ago I tried to look him up to see how he is doing but the organ donation agency couldn't provide me with any information due to privacy laws.

Both my sisters gave one of their kidneys as we are a match for one of their families with an inherited disease. I give blood. Next pint will be 10 gallons!! Hard to imagine that much blood but I always pray it will bring a boost to someone’s day!
